EatPedia is designed to be highly privacy-respecting. If you browse the site without signing in, we collect zero personal information.
If you choose to create an account or sign in using Firebase Authentication, we collect:
- Your email address (to identify your account).
- Your custom favorited recipes.
- Your daily portion checkmark logs and current streaks (stored securely in Google Firestore).
⚙️ 2. How Your Data is Used
Your data is used strictly to provide you with personalized app features:
- To display your favorite list of recipes.
- To track and persist your wellness logs and streaks across different devices.
We do not share, sell, rent, trade, or monetize your email or logged metrics with any advertising networks, third-party trackers, or external corporations.
☁️ 3. Third-Party Hosting and Authentication
We utilize Google Firebase for secure user authentication and database management. Your email and logged history are hosted on Google's secure Firebase cloud servers (located in Asia-South2). These systems utilize standard industry encryption protocols.

EatPedia uses standard browser cookies and local storage tokens solely for session management (keeping you logged into your account) and theme preferences (light/dark mode). We do not use third-party marketing cookies or tracking pixels.
🗑️ 5. Your Rights and Data Deletion
You hold complete ownership of your data. You can clear your logs at any time or sign out of your account.
